Don't be fooled by all this nostalgic garbage, don't buy it.. Another disappointing arcade football game... Everything seems so coincidence in this game: it happens when you score or conceded. There is no way to make a defensive play, you just press the "steal" or "push" buttons and wait if you get the ball. Same with the offense, carry the ball to the opponent's half with sprint and press the lob pass or shot. I don't get the excitement of football in this game. I don't understand why it is so difficult to make a great arcade football game even after 30 years Sensible Soccer did.. Too bad gameplay. Teaching them effectively is crucial to enjoying Swarmlake so additionally the first spawned wave has been tweaked a lot to hopefully better explain the very important bomb enemy.
